Opening the Door to Heaven on Earth

Consciousness is in the present moment. The mind and thoughts are about the past or the future, not the present. This is similar to a photograph not being the actual event. If you look at meditation, in the Vedas it comes from the word Dhyana, which means ‘no mind’. Mantra meditation gives the mind something to focus on, revealing the experience of consciousness.

Another Access to Consciousness

The mind is only able to perceive the ‘concept’ of consciousness – not the experience of it.  Besides meditation, a simple way of accessing true consciousness is through our awareness of sensation. This direct attention on what we feel inside is always available to us.  This awareness of sensation is in the present moment. This is different than emotions which involve a concept or even a judgement of sensation.

When you surrender to awareness of sensations, there is a gap between thoughts. This is a window into your being. Do you notice in this experience, there is no mind? This is the ‘I’ of the needle and the mind just doesn’t fit. – John Newton, 14 Jan 2016 excerpt from his Monday Call Series, Episode: “Opening the Door to Heaven on Earth” www.healthbeyondbelief.com #AncestralClearing #ComplementaryHealing #Consciousness #Forgiveness
